Listen to the debut mix from New York Transit Authority

NEW YORK TRANSIT AUTHORITY hails not from the Big Apple, but from Bristol. His real name is Mensah Anderson, but you probably know him simply as Mensah, the dubstep producer who’s released extensively on H.E.N.C.H. and most recently Mala’s Deep Medi Musik.

Mensah first adopted the New York Transit Authority name for a split 12″ release with Conqueror on Redlight’s Lobster Boy label last year. His side, a slinky, 808 house number entitled ‘Off The Traxx’, was caned by DJs like Loefah and Pearson Sound, and deservedly found its way into FACT’s 50 best tracks of 2011.

New York Transit Authority's debut mix recently dropped (via Fact Magazine), and features some new NYTA material alongside the likes of Art Department, Disclosure, Mala, Mickey Pearce, Jessie Ware & T Williams.

New York Transit Authority plays at the Stealth Easter Bank Holiday Special on Easter Sunday (8th April) alongside DARK SKY, PASTEMAN & lots more.
