DUKE DUMONT (Turbo Records)

"In the Age of 2012, producers who favor quality over quantity often get overshadowed by shameless goons who manage to spam their way into the discussion. Our fondest wish is to correct this, taking things to the point where someone like Duke Dumont can't leave the house without being cherished."

In 2006, Duke Dumont was crowned Diesel U Music champion, beating thousands of other producers to be considered the best unsigned producer in the world by a host of music industry judges. He rose to prominence in 2007 with the release of his debut EP “Regality” on Turbo Recordings. A fusion of low pitched vocal hooks, with a finely tuned techno lead, combined with an unbeatable bassline, created one of the dance records of the year.

Since then his tracks have been championed by the likes of Eats Everything, Lee Foss, Huxley, Erol Alkan, Brodinski, Armand Van Helden & Jamie Jones to name but a few.

Also well worth a listen is his excellent Fabric mix and his pretty untouchable remixography that has seen him take on tracks by artists as diverse as Bat for Lashes, Mystery Jets, Santigold & Late Of Pier.
