JACKMASTER can surely be considered ‘The DJs DJ’. A youth spent intimately involved in the Glaswegian institute of sound that is Rubbadub Records store subsequently led to him and a few mates forming seminal clubnight ‘Numbers’ which over the years has featured everyone from GHOSTFACE KILLAH to MODESELEKTOR. Since then a few like-minded labels have combined under the banner of Numbers and they’ve proceeded to release influential cuts by JAMIE XX and DEADBOY among others.  All this has left this young man with a mindboggling knowledge of house and techno to draw from which will have been evident if you’ve caught him when he’s played at Stealth in the past or if you had a listen to his sublime addition to the fabric mix CD series which came out earlier in the year.
