  • Supported by: ANNIE MAC PRESENTS... Erol Alkan, Ray Foxx, Disclosure & more tbc

Radio One darling and tastemaker general, ANNIE MAC returns to Nottingham with her Annie Mac presents night. Her-handpicked guests include perhaps one of the finest and most respected DJs on the circuit and Stealth favourite, EROL ALKAN along with RAY FOXX and DISCLOSURE and loads more.

ANNIE MAC (Radio 1)

Annie Mac is fast becoming her generation’s definitive dance music radio DJ. In August 09 her show The Mash Up was moved to the iconic 7 – 9pm slot on UK Radio 1, the most feel-good two hours on the airwaves that catches the nation off work and hyping about the weekend.

Long before her big move on Radio 1 Annie started hosting ‘Annie Mac Presents’ parties. The parties have gotten bigger, better and fresher since the inauguration four years ago in a single room at London’s famous club ‘Fabric’ with Mylo and Justice.

In his early 20s he founded the most influential clubnight of its time, ‘Trash’ in London. Over the last decade the world’s dancefloors have been rocked by Erol’s remixes (for Klaxons, Hot Chip, Scissor Sisters, Alter Ego, Mylo, Bloc Party, DFA1979, Chemical Brothers & Franz Ferdinand); with Erol being voted Mixmag’s ‘DJ Of The Year’ and ‘Best International Dj’ and even being called up to support both Madonna and Daft Punk!

More recently he has released his collaborations with Boys Noize ‘Waves/Deathwave’ & ‘Avalanche/Lemonade’ - both of which have been picked up by the world’s top DJs.
How can one man, still in his early thirties, have kept so many kids dancing for so long?

Ray Foxx has broken into the mainstream via his Ibiza hit 'The Trumpeter', and the full vocal version 'La Musica' which is currently shooting up the Radio 1 playlist!

With heavy support from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Zane Lowe and Trevor Nelson, and championed by DJ Target and Mistajam at BBC Radio 1Xtra naming just a few, ‘The Trumpeter’ is simply the hottest dance track currently tearing up the airwaves. Not only that, it went straight to the top spot on the DMC Ibiza Buzz Chart. The production is quite simply staggering; with a bass that’s so heavy it made Annie Mac rewind the record live on air when it kicked in. This, coupled with a ridiculously hooky cameo from the eponymous trumpeter, means this is one record that looks set to hit the sky and keep going for some time! It is simply THE sound of the Balearics this summer!

"Kids making music you could only dream of" - The Boiler Room

"These guys are brothers, one is 16 one is 19 - it makes me sick! They have a big future ahead of them" - Annie Mac (Radio 1)

Disclosure are two brothers, Guy and Howard Lawrence, aged 16 and 19 who write, record and produce all of their material, from a studio based just south of London.
Sonically their main influences stem from their Croydon locale, as they effortlessly combine the 2-step rhythms of garage and basslines of dubstep with their own rich musical heritage including soul, jazz and 90's hip hop. Their music is set to erupt on dancefloors across the globe.
