DENIS SULTA (Numbers/Dixon Avenue Basement Jams)

On Saturday 12th March we look forward to welcoming one of house music's hottest prospects; Denis Sulta to Stealth for his Nottingham debut.

The young Glaswegian (real name Hector Barbour) released his debut 12"s on 'Dixon Avenue Basement Jams' at the tail end of 2014, with the instantly anthemic ‘A.A.S (Nite & Day Mix)’ leading the A-side. Following support from the likes of Skream, Julio Bashmore and Jasper James, the 12" promply sold out. His second release, the 'LA Ruffgarden EP' helped cement his reputation, and was followed a few months later by 'It's Only Real' - one of the tracks of 2015 and a standout feature of sets from Bicep, Four Tet, DJ Haus, Annie Mac & Jackmaster, who ended up signing the track to his 'Numbers' label. And not content with just the one production outlet, Hector has also just released a 12" on Mister Saturday Night under his 'Atlus' alias.

Much like his fellow Glasweigan Jackmaster, Denis Sulta earnt his stripes working at Glasgow’s legendary Rubadub recordshop, which has helped give him an impressive knowledge of House & Techno which he displayed with his now legendary Boiler Room mix recorded at the SubClub in Glasgow.

We look forward to welcoming Denis Sulta to Stealth on Saturday 13th March for his Nottingham debut, and he is set to have a big year, having just been selected by Annie Mac for her 'New Names' to watch in 2016 feature.
