STEALTH 8th BIRTHDAY

Known as the musical mecca for dance fans in the midlands and Nottingham's number one club due to its forward thinking music policy, Stealth turns 8 this month with the help of...

RUSTIE (Warp)

Coming out of Glasgow’s experimental party scene where wonky acid hip-hop and slaughtered rap edits are regular cellar rave fodder, Rustie (a.k.a. Russell Whyte) is resolutely driving the tumultuous storm that’s shaking up electronic music on both sides of the Atlantic. His debut album 'Glass Swords', released in October last year on forward thinking label Warp Records, set the dance world by storm and won the coveted The Guardian First Album Award. The track 'Ultra Thizz' really encapsulates Rusties sound and has been sending crowds into a frenzy all over the world.

With regular plays on the radio and in the clubs by the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Jackmaster, Benji B, Annie Mac and many more, Rustie is going from strength to strength, especially with his BBC Essential Mix being aired just a few days a go, 2012 is looking pretty good.

WAIFS & STRAYS (Hot Creations/Futureboogie)

Amos Nelson and Rich Beanland, aka Waifs & Strays have been making light work of sound-tracking the past few months with their funked up summer jams. From making an international impact with ‘Yeah Yeah’ on Leftroom Records to their latest release on Futureboogie, the tour de force duo from the thriving Bristol house scene continues to unleash essential DJ weaponry to keep the party moving.

Hot Creations, the label synonymous with genre-popping funk, good times and sunnier climbs are the latest to release Waifs & Strays ‘Body Shiver’ which is a highlight on Jamie Jones’ recent Fabric Album.
